start quest game
You can start a quest game by selecting the appropriate tab:

You do not have to quest!
You have the option to:
just play a game against any (free for your player) AI opponent
play a quest
This means, just select one of your decks. And a computer AI opponent and his deck - and start a game. This way, you can play the usual games like any "Quick play", but you get two benefits:
if you win - you will most probably be able to collect some money
if you have an accepted quest, which doesn't need a specific opponent (like card collecting, money collecting etc...) you can still benefit from your opponent
you can select opponents not available in quick play (if you have completed quests befor, which make new opponents available)
→ Which means, if you like to play more than just one or two games alltogether it does make sense to take the time to create a persistent alter ego.
In the listbox on this screen all quests are listed, which you allready accepted. You can select any quest and information about it is displayed. In order to play a quest game you have to press the "Apply Quest" button. After applying a quest, your own deck settings, opponent and opponent deck settings might be altered. You might still be able to select different values from the comboboxes, but only within bounderies of the selected quest options (a quest might be to defeat opponent X with any deck - so you are still allowed to chose a deck - or the quest might be to defeat an enemy by using a specific deck... etc).
After hitting the "Start Game" button the quest intro will be displayed and the game will start. Any "non simple quest" (meaning quests which are only card / money collecting) will only be successfull if you win the game! That means, if the quest tells you to kill an "Archangle" you do that during your encounter but lose the game... than the quest will not count as completed!
To collect the reward you have to go to the persistent player menu and finish the quest in the "quest" tab.
