GEOS WARP

Well this is supposed to be some environment like the C64 GEOS. C64 Geos programs are supposed to run under this, so this can be called an emulator too. Unfortunately I wasn't able to get a copy of this. I looked at the homepage (which was last updated some years ago), where some information can be found, but no copy of the real thing. Perhaps go can drag some more information out of it than me, have a look at it at:

SID Player (emulator)

There were litterally thousands (probably even tenths of thounsands) noise artwork available for the little one. There were people famous for composing music on C64. Names like ROB HUBBARD for instance were nearly a garant for well selling pieces of software. Many fans were found through out the whole world for BEEB BEEB like music. (I'll probably get heaps of flames for that statement :-)) Well for quite some time there are players available for these music pieces. These players are actually emulators of the soundchip. The music sounds (depending on your sound card and your audio equipment) very much like the original. If you are in for a piece of audio nostalgica have a look at these players. There is a WEB page for SID PLAYER, have a look at it, many interesting links can be found there:

Software

Where to get it? Well my first recommendation goes to the
High Voltage CD. There is a really huge amount of software on it (but not all of it working). Watch out there is a second one comming soon. Other CD ROM's to recommend (though no 'classical' games are on them) Brotkasten (Breadbox) and 64'er. Once you have these CD ROM's you have a good start (about 5000 *.d64 files).
(BTW.:Childhoods End (High Voltage CD I Online))
Of course there are a couple of well equipped ftp sites:

Looking for some utilities for use with the emulators? Have a look at:
Some very well equipped WWW pages too:

There are even some other interesting C64 pages (still many more, but you can get their via links on these pages):

If you can't find the program of your heart anywhere, your last resort might be to email ME, I haven't got everything, but quite a lot... . (I won't give away stuff that's still sold... (Activision stuff for example)).
